I have quite enjoyed renting from Anchor Apartments for the last few years! This part of Stevens Point is quiet, but also close to amenities including groceries, downtown, parks, trails, and transit. The property is well-maintained and I am impressed at the quick and effective response I've had to the few maintenance issues that have come up. My experience with Anchor Apartments was great! Living in the apartments on Franklin St. made walking to campus super easy since they're so close. Jeff is a great landlord, he is very kind and we never had an issue contacting him. If we ever needed help or had a minor problem he attended to it as quickly as possible. Our town house was great for my other 4 roommates and I, it was a very nice place and big enough for all of us!:)
Don't rent from this company. My landlord Jeff may was very mean. Anything to yell at you for. Everyone has their own assigned parking space while I didn't have a car at the time so my face was open but I had a lot of visitors come like my sister came all the time and according to him nobody can park there not even my sister or somebody that's visiting in my spot. I had a great experience will using Anchor apartments for the 2 years of my off campus housing. Jeff helped us find a unit that would fit our needs and the location was great with being a 3 minute walk from campus (this was closer then living in the dorms!). The place was clean and well kept. Could use a few minor updates but nothing major. Jeff would always respond to phone calls and emails in a timely manner and was easy to work with. I would never rent from this company. They are extremely shady and refuses to show you the rental agreement before paying the application fee. The manager I talked to also was extremely cagey and refused to answer specific questions about the agreement.
