We stayed at the glass house. The photos on the site do not exactly represent the experience. It's upscale camping, but the bathroom and kitchenette area only have a screen so in mid October is freezing out there and smells of mildew. The main house is dusty on the fan, the blinds and behind and around the bed. The mouse trap in the window was obvious of a rodent intrusion. My allergies to mold kicked up bad and ended up sick by day 3 when we checked out. It definitely has an issue in the main house with this.The trails are ... read more

This place is awesome. We are already looking forward to going back and trying one of the other cabins. If you book the Woodland House, you may want to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get up there.

Absolutely serene experience. If you're looking to detach from the hustle of life, this is the destination. We stayed in June and at night we heard barred owls calling and the most unbelievable (and I mean that) light show from a forest full of fireflies. It was like a fairy tale. We stayed in the Hillside unit and it was 100% clean and fresh, totally isolated, stocked with anything you need and it really felt like we were in a tree house with the windows and view. If I could leave 0 stars I would. The owner is completely unprofessional. To start off he was 2 hours late to our meeting to tour the property, so we had to go to a bar down the street to wait. He acted as if he had done nothing wrong. We planned to have our wedding here and the owner made it sounds like it was no problem when talking over the phone and through email.
