Sandwiches are some of the best I’ve ever had. Chicken Alfredo is incredible.
Had lunch here because the storefront was vintage and we hoped for a classic luncheonette experience. Big menu. I ordered the chicken salad salad and my husband got a Cuban. My salad had soggy croutons and the chicken salad was too sweet. The worst was plastic plates and forks. I just can’t do that at an eat-in place. My husband thought his Cuban was just ok - overstuffed a bit and not crisp enough. Overall, a disappointment, but the young women working there were nice.
How does a deli with that many salads not have one that is meatless? You can ask them to leave the meat off but price would be the same.
This is usually my go-to spot, but today they really missed the mark. I always order the Buffalo Rotolo Wrap, and it normally comes with a side of pickles. This time, there were no pickles, the chicken was dry, there was barely any buffalo sauce, and the wrap was soggy instead of having the crispy outside texture it usually has. I was really disappointed because I’ve always had great experiences here. Maybe it was just an off day, but the inconsistency makes it hard to come back.
