This is a wonderful place to meditate. I visit this temple often. My kids live this place too. They teach kroya yoga and they are from Swami yogananda lineage. The temple leaders, volunteers are kind, welcoming and helpful. Sunday services are on every week. Yoga classes are happening, schedule on their website. I volunteer for gardening, cooking for community events, it's definitely divine experience. I definitely recommend this place for a great spiritual experience
The history of = Swami KRIYANANDA ( WALTERS) IS THE " FOUNDER" OF SRF WHICH SUED YOGANANDA FOR THE NAME ( SELF REALIZATION FELLOWSHIP)....PARAMHANSA YOGANANDA= HAD DROPPED DEAD AT 52 YRS. OLD. It's a CULT..JESUS Christ is a photo on the wall yet Yogananda the YOGA teacher is their IDOL..HIS huge BRONZE HEAD is on a pedestal.... NOT THE KING JESUS CHRIST...the humans seem old / white/ phony..no Indians from india.. JESUS CHRIST is not ever talked about nor in the " Chants" / somgs.. No one has the ability to actually SING here...horrific to hear... RUN. .. Fast away.....
