Since I was a kid I remember going into Georges shop Underground Sound on Cooper listening to he and my dad talk hi-fi (and politics probably). I remember for so long telling myself I'd own a George Merrill turntable one day. Well many years went by, my dad passed away and I'd inherited all of his high end stuff. George is exceptional. Truly classy gentleman with a brilliant mind that should not be taken for granted. If you are interested in high-end analog equipment, he’s your man.

Over the past three years, George has sold me several components, and has also serviced four amplifiers and a turntable. He's been extremely thorough, as well as patient with my non-technical abilities (or lack thereof), and when he didn't find any problems with equipment he checked over, he never charged me for the time spent looking at the equipment.
