George got me fixed up! I had a Sony linear track turntable that stopped working. He said IF he could get the parts it would be 400+ to fix. But he had just took in a Pioneer pl-516 in for a trade and told me he had just went through it, would put a Grado black cartridge on it and I could come and get it for 200! I told him I'm on my way to get it! And 15+ years later it plays perfectly! Again and quite overdue, thank you George!!! You are the best! Tom Webb

Since I was a kid I remember going into Georges shop Underground Sound on Cooper listening to he and my dad talk hi-fi (and politics probably). I remember for so long telling myself I'd own a George Merrill turntable one day. Well many years went by, my dad passed away and I'd inherited all of his high end stuff.
