Went for a day sail on the beautiful sailing vessel "Aquarius". The captain, Mitch was great! We had many laughs and a great time all around. The entire day was fantastic, but there finale was while we were heading back to Anacortes, Mitch put us onto a school of Orca, and they sure put on a show for us. I would highly recommend AYC's and of you want to go sailing, pick the "Aquarius" you will not be disappointed.
My group of 3 chartered a sailboat from Here for a five day, four night trip and bundled it with the ASA training courses to make you a certified sailor and it was AWESOME! We had Mitchell as our skipper who taught us everything we needed to know and was great with recommendations, general knowledge, and fun to hangout with. The boat was great and the trip couldn’t have gone better. Already looking to book here again soon.
Me and my two friends had an amazing time with Captain Mitchell! His knowledge and experience made us feel completely safe, and he still kept the whole trip fun and relaxed. He knew all the best spots around the islands and made sure we were enjoying ourselves the entire time. Couldn't have asked for a better captain -- highly recommend!
My husband and I chartered a 27' Ranger Tug this summer for the first time, and I cannot say enough about Mitchell! His mix of humor, pragmatism, and experience were just right and made us feel confident about setting off on our own the next day. Request him specifically if you can. You won't regret it.
