My wife, son, and I chartered the Blue Moon for a week in May. We had two days of instruction in managing the boat from Captain Mitch. He made us feel very comfortable in driving and docking the boat and we were able to comfortably visit Orcas Island, Roche Harbor, and Victoria on our own. Mitch was friendly and knowledgeable and even went so far as to let us use his personal starlink terminal when the one on the Blue Moon was not operational. We took a 3 day power boating course with Captain Mitch on Three G's American Tug. After the course was done, we continued our cruise for 2 more nights! What a great trip!! Captain Mitch was easy to be with and a great teacher. He had tons of local tips. Three G's is a beautiful newer boat that still smells new! It is well equipped and easy to maneuver. Went for a day sail on the beautiful sailing vessel "Aquarius". The captain, Mitch was great! We had many laughs and a great time all around. The entire day was fantastic, but there finale was while we were heading back to Anacortes, Mitch put us onto a school of Orca, and they sure put on a show for us. I would highly recommend AYC's and of you want to go sailing, pick the "Aquarius" you will not be disappointed.
