I have had Anacapa Canvas work on my boat canvas multiple times since 1999. David has made custom adjustments and cost effective repairs over and over again. While they no longer have a store front location Anacapa Canvas delivers time and time again. While timing can be difficult sometimes, material and repairs have always been first rate. David Barajas the owner of Anacapa Marine took the 2,500.00 deposit to repair the floating classroom boat project. Six months later still nothin has been done. he hides behind his answering machine. We have heard a few Pathetic excuse and promises however you need to know he is a failed person who will steal your money. This floating classroom boat takes hunderds of students and senior citizen out on lake Casitas for free to teach them about the environment. I am reluctant to ever write a bad review about a company but I feel it's necessary in this case. Peggy from Anacapa made us some furniture covers out of substandard fabric and they are tearing and falling apart within a one year period. These were meant for outdoors and should have lasted years. When trying to contact her to remedy the problem, she continues to ignore our emails and phone calls. We now need to have proper covers remade and wasted all the money we spent on the covers from Anacapa. I do not recommend them at ... read more
