I do not fault the person we spoke to on the phone when the order was placed and when we tried to see if we could cancel the order but were unable to due to time we tried to. He was very nice and tried to help us out. But the people they use for delivery are horrible. They did not drop the Sod off where they were suppose to in the rear of house as we asked. They also dropped of at midnight where in our subdivision could cause issues with HOA, especially because they can't bring large long trucks in this subdivision. Accord... read more

I found A&N by just a random google searched called and told Adam what the need was and he IMMEDIATELY delivered amazing results. I asked when 3 pallets could be delivered and how much and he told us we can get them two days later. The day before the delivery date he called and told us what time the pallets would arrive and they placed it at an easy access point for us to bring it to the backyard because they were unable to fit through the gate. Great experience before the purchase — responsive salesman, good communication, and a competitive price. Unfortunately, the product and follow-up support did not match the sales experience. A significant portion of the sod arrived with weeds, dead patches, and highly inconsistent cut thicknesses. Some pieces were extremely thin while others were much thicker, making installation uneven and creating obvious quality concerns right away. Ordered sod. Company showed up, unannounced and dropped four pallets on our existing grass when I left instruction to have the pallets placed on the drive way. Order an additional two pallets for deliver on 9/25. Mid day, called company and they advised that the order was cancelled. They NEVER notified us either via email or with a phone call that they were cancelling the order. Nor did we receive confirmation that our credit card was credited for the cancelation.

I would strongly caution anyone from doing business with A&N Sod. They dropped off my sod in the middle of the night with no call-ahead, no ETA, and no communication at all. When I inspected it in the morning, much of the sod was already gray, thin, and looked nearly dead. Some pallets even had crabgrass mixed in. When I reached out immediately with photos (well within their supposed 24-hour policy), I was met with nothing but excuses and threats.
