This experience brought up childhood trauma from the dentist. They pushed hard for a service that was $2.2k while another procedure was perfectly suitable for the situation, ended up being around $400. The doctor - He was aggressive in my mouth and not polite. Very money hungry (it came across that way). When I asked questions, he said I'd need to make another appointment several times- a brief overview would have been just fine. This was a gentle experience. I have major anxiety for the dentist and they took all my concerns and worked with me every step of the way so that I was comfortable and well taken care of.
You cannot find a better family dentist practice than Apple A Day Dental. The staff and dentist were so friendly and patient. Dental work can certainly be scary due to pain and the pocket book. The staff put me at ease and minimized my fear and made sure my procedure was relatively painless and they offered affordable solutions to help me achieve the outcome that best fit our budget.
Appointment with Dr. Julie Buchanan. I went in for a regular cleaning/preventative exam, no problems or pain with my teeth at the appoimtment. My previous dental history: I have had straight and healthy teeth. Some grinding wear due to bruxism (I have had since childhood, but wear a mouth soft guard to prevent damage at night, and I have worn it since adolesence).
