My oldest has autism and she agreed with me when his doctor said no and this was when he was 3... he's 7 now and have had 2 other doctors say he's autistic..
Great Doctor has been right on everytime I have gone to her with an issue. Caught my daughters eye issue and sons problem with his testicle. There is a wait when you go to see her but I don't mind at all because I know when she gets to me, she will take all the time I need to discuss any problems. She is never in a hurry and I always feel comfortable with her recommendations.
Dr. Young was very interested and concerned about my child. She took measures to explain things to a clear understanding. I have appreciated her and this Akron Children s facility very much since my move to this area.
Dr Young refused to treat my heavy periods w an ablation. Instead she had me go to a GI for a colonoscopy to see if they could find endometriosis. Instead of waiting 5 wks in intense pain w 10 day periods that were interfering w my life I went to another gyn that did a laproscopy,, and ablation This resolved my condition rather than prolonging, being passed around from Dr to Dr. She didn't think ins would pay for laparoscopy but they did w/o issue. Her inflexibility did me more of a disservice.
