My son was seen by Dr.Valasek at the Children’s New Albany Sports Medicine location. Dr.Valasek was extremely thorough in her examination of our son, her explanation of what constitutes a concussion, and her recommendations for our son’s future in athletics. She explained in great detail what happens during a head injury, what causes a concussion and how modern medicine diagnoses and treats them.
