Dr. Soni met our intellectually disabled adult son for the first time yesterday to assess and further screen for blood cancer. Not only did she communicate respectfully, cheerfully and simply with him, she answered anxious parent's questions and navigated missing years of medical history with grace. Her observations were informative without making us fearful and we get the sense that she will look at all the results before trying to nail down what might be a tricky diagnosis. So glad Our son has such a great doc!
