Bought “Amy’s Classic Confections” coconut macaroons @ Minnesota Largest Candy Store. Got home only to see that the 3rd ingredient on these Macaroons was “Propyliene Gycol” aka antifreeze. A cheap way to sweeten and preserve food... being that it’s the 3rd ingredient on the list, it’s one of its main ingredients (and yes yes this is used in lots of things ... like sweetners, e cigarettes, airplane deicer) Not what I would expect from a local handmade small business!
This place is truly a treat!!! For the last 7 years, the Gelato is always wickedly good and my team loves it ...
