Dr. Patterson is very thorough, caring, and informative. Willing to fight for your child to get the medication he or she needs. Very kind and compassionate, wonderful bedside manner, and overall a great doctor. She has done everything in her power to help get answers for my son and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an epileptologist.
Dr. Patterson misdiagnosed my child. She is terrible and does not take the time to look into issues she is unfamiliar with. If she doesn't know she'll just say "I haven't heard of that... I'm sure they're fine and it's nothing to worry about".
We were referred to the nuerology group by both our pediatrician and a neuro ophthalmologist. The first available appointment was with Dr. Amy Patterson. We saw her one time. She was very nice but you can tell in the visit she lacked experience, maturity and the medical knowledge needed to assist my son. She took lots of notes but admitted that she was not familiar with my son's symptoms.
