I have taken Amy’s Sip and Paint class three times - once in her comfortable Des Moines studio, and twice online via Zoom. Each class has been fun, informative, and has guided me towards painting things I didn’t think I would be able to, as a beginner. Amy teaches students how to examine the elements of the image they are painting, and guides each class through methodical steps to creating their own interpretations of the image, all while maintaining a supportive, fun atmosphere and teaching basic painting techniques. I’ve taken many classes from Amy. They are always fun, and I learn new techniques every time. She offers a variety of classes that appeal to a wide range of skill levels - beginners and those with experience. I enjoy the group setting as well – it makes for a relaxing environment to learn in. Highly recommend!!
