I cannot even fathom where all of these negative reviews are coming from. Amy was an absolute gift to me when I came in for my appointment. I will continue to go to her office when needed. Absolutely 100%
It's tough to trust when you hear mixed reviews, but honestly, she saved my life. She treated me like family, not just another paycheck. If she couldn't figure something out, she brought in other doctors who could. I'd recommend her 100%! I know doctors have a lot on their plates, and stress is a huge factor. So while some might find her blunt, remember she's managing hundreds of patients, and sometimes your case might not be as urgent as someone else's. It's like tough love, I guess? Every appointment I had with her was so fast and she barely acknowledged me. While I was in labor I only saw her twice and the second time she came in she gave me the most nastiest look. She was disappointed that I have been pushing for 2.5 hours but never came to check in on me or to coach me on anything. The nurses were 10/10 angels.. and the OB was so rude to them. -The nurse asked more questions then the doctor -Gave the highest does of estrogen birth control to someone with PCOS -Asked "why are your pants off?" To the patient AT A PELVIC EXAM THAT WASN'T EVEN CONDUCTED -asked if the partner was cheating on the patient and possibly had an STD (with no reason to suspect an STD because she didn't even look) -Felt large bumps in the pelvic region and said "yea I don't know what this is.
