Our second time meeting with Dr. Guralnick, first time she was pleasant and took some time with you. 2nd time around, like she was in a hurry and spent about less than 10 minutes to tell the patient "I don't believe you".. Cold. Thou Brian the Nurse on the other hand was a Gem, sweet and caring.. He should be the DR. We are NOT returning.
I am sure that Dr. Guralnick is very competent at treating simpler sleep disorders like sleep apnea, however she displayed a concerning refusal to acknowledge the complexity of sleep disorders like narcolepsy. For context: I have been dx'ed with narcolepsy for 6 years, and educated myself on my condition. She was quick to respond to my questions with broad and misleading generalizations, which put me in the position of correcting and clarifying further, and this clearly frustrated and angered her.
