Dr. Korten performed a colposcopy on me. She had a very difficult time getting a biopsy of my cervix. She tried 5 or more times in one area before obtaining a sample. She also performed an endometrial biopsy, which was painful. I had bleeding for a week after the procedure and had to go to my regular doctor to have it checked out to make sure I didn't have any complications. I have had both of these procedures done by 3 different doctors 3 other times and didn't have any pain or issues with biopsy. So I know this is not a 'n... read more
Dr. Korten went above and beyond to make sure I understood what was happening and was comfortable during my pregnancy and cesarean. She was patient and kind, and I never got the sense that she had more important things to do while she was in the room with me (as is true with some doctors). I actually looked forward to seeing her as I know she cared throughout my entire pregnancy.

Dr.Kroten is awesome! She has delivered both of my kids and I would very much recommend her to anyone I know. She is very caring and takes the time to listen to any concerns or questions.
Dr. Korten is a wonderful, caring doctor! She always took the time to explain what was going on during my high risk pregnancy (complete placenta previa) and delivery at 34 weeks. I highly recommend her!
