Dr. Jongeling is personable, warm, and interested in patients as whole human beings.
So patient! So empathetic! So smart! When describing my focal seizure I said the typical, “I only lost awareness for about 10 seconds” which is usually met with a nod and typing. She is the first neurologist to correct, “That’s still enough time where it’s not safe to cross the street”. I’ve never had a doctor who cared this much about my well-being, not just the scientific problem of eliminating my seizures. She really listens and works WITH the patient. I just had my first appointment with Dr. Jongeling today and she was amazing! She truly took the time to listen to what I had to say and took the time to explain. I can’t wait to work with her and see her again. :)
