I received a letter in the mail stating the office had been trying to reach me about a bad cervical screening. Which is crazy because I am hyper responsive. I went into the office and Burgett showed me an old fashioned notecard with hand written dates scrawled in random where they had tried to reach me. Which is crazy, I never heard from them. This doctor said to me, 'You had your children LATE.' She emphasized LATE. I was 35 when I had one and 37 when I had the other. Her bedside manner was tolerable, but I was in that office for hours for a routine annual appointment. That's another issue at her direction. Also, the billing was messed up. It took so much time to resolve, not her fault, and it still was not resolved. That was my first and last time there. This was roughly a year and a half ago. I should have written the review sooner.
She told me that there was nothing she could do after charging $450 for an expensive lab that reflected “normal” results after visiting for a very obvious issue. After archaic advice of trying a “glass of wine before sex.” To solve a real physical painful issue. Her unwillingness to empathize or help was truly heartbreaking, I would never trust her as my gyno again, let alone as my OB.
She listens, she ask questions and she transmitted me a kind of trust that she really cares about her patients. I highly recommended to a friend of mine, I am sure Dr. Amy will be taken good care of her.
Very comfortable and relatable doctor. Explains everything and ensures I am comfortable with treatment if needed.
I have been going to Dr. Amy for several years, she is great!! She listens to everything you have to say and doesn't rush you through like so may other doctors.

she just a wonderful doctor. take all the time necessary, listen to her patients , competent , remember the patient. we are not a number finally ! highly recommended
she is kind and doesn't mind spending as much time as needed with her patients
