If I could put ZERO stars I would! Amy most definitely played in my hair and I’ve been with her for 12 years!! and she charged 130 for a style I didn’t even get. Won’t be spending money or my loyalty with her anymore.

I recently got my hair braided at Amy’s African Hair Braiding. The end result looked good, but the experience was very uncomfortable. The stylist, Amy, talked and laughed extremely loudly in her language the entire time—right in my ear for hours. The louder she laughed, the heavier her hands became on my head. On top of that, whenever she yawned, she would yawn directly toward me instead of turning her head, and I could clearly smell her breath each time. Absolute scam. Absolutely played me. Left me sitting with my hair half done for 50 minutes after paying. READ ON. Wish I would’ve read their reviews on google before coming. Amy told me she could help me with a sew in. We waited a month because my hair texture, and the natural hair needing to be longer. I continued to return to her shop, in good faith, because she said she could help, but to just get my natural length a bit longer.
