Used to be Purple Heart Thrift Store The prices have gone up a bit since they are under new ownership, however the huge warehouse sized thrift store has been completely reorganized and is much easier to find things. They still have pretty good prices, and they are much cleaner. PROS: Huge store, lots of neat finds CONS: They have a huge staff crew, they pick through the good stuff publicly!

Tried to donate, but jerk worker told me, "were full, just throw it in the trash"! Guess he was to lazy to want to deal with it. So sad there are people like this !

Big place, nice things, well organized and clean. You could spend up to 3 hrs looking, but the only downfall is they don't have restrooms.

I have lived behind amvets in n.long beach for 26 years. I had hobbies. That I out grew I tried donating. Fishing poles, r/c cars and boats, power tools and a lot of good stuff but to my surprise they don't want my trash said. A fat little man who was working in the back.. but yet he walked away taking a $ 200 long board.... Yup... I am your neighbor. Doing a donation for our vets.. goodwill. Is where my donation is going.. help our vets don't turn down a $1 that can help our veterans.....
