We are Versailles locals and have been to Amsden 3 times and have had a terrible experience each time. Every time we have been it takes forever. Finally last night was the final straw. We went for my wife’s birthday. We were seated quickly, even though it was dinner hour. The restaurant was empty. My wife ordered a margarita and we ordered our food. Our waiter was amazing. However, the calamari was a bit hard due to batter being to thick. Very small calimari pieces. Loved the scallops. I'm very picky about seafood as my ex was an importer exporter.

The food is fantastic! I had gluten free calamari with a beautiful lemon aolie sauce. Lots of really delicious gf options! Overall, a beautiful night out with great food and service!

Jeff Ruby's prices and not even Malones quality. Food was just OK. Had 2 double Buffalo trace w/splash of ginger beer $48… that’s extremely high for Buffalo trace. Steak frites (steak was small)$39, Caesar salad. 3 crab hushpuppy looking deals $16..way too much garlic in dipping sauce. Vodka spritz $12. Total $147ish plus $30 tip. Don’t mind paying that much if the food and drinks are on that level. The building and bar are really nice. Would probably just have an appetizer & beer next time.
