Bright lights, no atmosphere. Felt like a cafeteria. Waiters couldn't understand English that well. Tried to take our plates after we'd said we weren't finished. Sat at the back and smelt a strong smell of cigarette smoke coming from kitchen area. Obviously staff on breaks, smoking. Food was nice but not that great. Very disappointing experience. We arrived around 9:30 PM, and Google stated that the restaurant closed at 10:30 PM. We had even called beforehand to make sure we could get a table, but when we arrived, we were made to feel very unwelcome. Nobody clearly told us that the last order had already been taken or that they were closing early. Great taste, very slow service, kind staff!
The food was the strongest part of our visit. I had the fish curry starter and chicken biryani. The biryani was particularly good — very flavourful with just the right level of spice — and overall the quality and flavour of the food were excellent. The fish starter could have had a little more flavour and been more succulent and tender. Service was a bit on and off.
