The billing department desperately needs to be audited. They had a time frame of 180 days to send the claim to my insurance company, they submitted the claim to my insurance with incorrect codes. So when my insurance company informed them of the incorrect codes the didn't resubmit it again until after the 180 day time frame. REALLY AMR??? U had 1 job and a whole 6 months to do it correctly. $2000 for a 2 mile ride. Absolute worst mistake of my life ever. Call a friend to drive you to the hospital and save yourself $2000. Overcharging overbilling terrible horrible company. Whoever owns this company is soulless
They are the WORST to deal with in terms of transportation and organization and billing. Just a poorly run company that will milk you for money. Had a bill for my transportation of $1399.80 for a life threatening emergency, I had to go less than a 5 mile drive. I had no insurance at the time was between jobs, they refused any payments I could make because they didn’t meet their payment plan amounts. When you have no job and little money coming in they DO NOT care. Was told Arizona will not discount your fees when uninsured.
