Billing is a joke. If you are able to use another transport, do yourself a favor and do so. TBH, the first responders were great and I hate having to leave such a low rating because the first responders did great. It's the billing department that is horrible. If you have an error on your bill or need any assistance with a bill, expect to have to jump through 50 hoops trying to get the help you need.
The billing department desperately needs to be audited. They had a time frame of 180 days to send the claim to my insurance company, they submitted the claim to my insurance with incorrect codes. So when my insurance company informed them of the incorrect codes the didn't resubmit it again until after the 180 day time frame. REALLY AMR??? U had 1 job and a whole 6 months to do it correctly. $2000 for a 2 mile ride. Absolute worst mistake of my life ever. Call a friend to drive you to the hospital and save yourself $2000. Overcharging overbilling terrible horrible company. Whoever owns this company is soulless
