Horrible response time. Started with 75 minutes to continue changing to end time 6 hours and 10 minutes before arrival.
The most unprofessional and dishonest company imaginable. Attempting to transport my 90-year-old mother after hip replacement surgery dispatcher continually lied for 12 hours after the patient at Memorial Hermann Med Center was ready for transport. 1st pickup time 6:30 pm, 5 hours after request. At midnight AMR still had not arrived. Every couple of hours they assured a new pickup time: 7:30, then 9:30, then 11:30. At midnight they still had not arrived. They were very professional bring my husband home from Memorial Herman Northeast before the snow storm. I really appreciate them getting him home safely.
Had an appointment for pickup at 10:30 am yesterday and they didn’t show up and didn’t call until 1pm and said they would pick us up at 7:53 pm. No call no show until 11:30 pm and didn’t bring a vehicle big enough for a stretcher. So had to stay another night in the hospital and had a 10am pick up time the next morning. No show again and then passed it off to another company and supposedly their vehicle broke down. This ambulance company is terrible. The 2 employees who transported me during a mental health crisis were some of the most unprofessional employees I’ve ever encountered. They walked in the hospital room and the driver started banging on the hospital machine. The entire time I was in their presence, they were cussing and joking around with one another while completely disregarding me.
