Lazy psychiatrists trying to make their patients symptoms fit into their inaccurate diagnosis. Their attitudes towards support and care for their MENTALLY ILL patients is going to end with someone dying or filing a malpractice suit.
Wish I could give 0 stars. They can’t help me because my mental health doesn’t fit the exact criteria to be diagnosed, so even though they acknowledge the issue, they refuse to help or to refer me ri someone more skilled in the area… so they discharge me! It’s like if your right leg had 2 breaks in it but the doctor tells you “the criteria for a broken leg is 3 breaks in your left leg so yours doesn’t fit therefore BYE!” No help, no referrals elsewhere, just get discharged and told to go to the recovery college … as if arts ... read more

I got discharged and never received a letter of notice while being pregnant and after being told I would be put on the waiting list to speak to a therapist and would be given DBT refreshers. I’d been asking for help for over a year and was always told they had no one to help me and I just had to deal with it. I was discharged because they suggested I get help from the perinatal mental health team, who they’re supposed to work alongside.
