Man at check in window very helpful. He'll give you the weight beforehand, for you to approve, since dispatchers like to sway away from answering that. Have your pickup number .. or you'll have to wait on your dispatch to find it. Then you get a detailed map of where to go, get loaded, come back, get your b.o.l., and seal, and your on your way.
Checked in: 11:14am Docked: 1:04pm Loaded with incorrect freight: 2:11pm Got a new dock at 3:38pm Finally loaded correctly at 4:39pm Dude at check in office (bldg on corner of “J” St and 2nd St) was friendly and gave me a map of where to go. I tried to check in at the docks but the lady that was supposed to be checking me in ignored me as she walked to her car. As she’s reversing she rudely yells out her window to go wait in my truck until she gets back. She comes back after an hour in a better mood and assigned me a dock. A... read more
