I was a regular visitor to Amplifon clinic when they had a branch inside the Oshawa Clinic building on King Street (west), Oshawa, where I was fitted with my hearing-aid a few years ago, and later to their Oshawa-Taunton branch on Keith-Ross Drive. The service at both locations was always excellent. Recently, I moved to Richmond Hill and visited the Amplifon clinic in Richmond Hill yesterday. I had an appointment with them on May 25 for a hearing test. However, when I arrived, the receptionist told me that there was no appointment under my name. Apparently, my appointment had been rescheduled to June 12, but I never received any message or notification about this change. I drove for an hour only to find out the appointment did not exist. I manage my calendar very carefully, and I would never treat my bank clients this way.
