I do not recommend. This doctor is very opinionated and biased. She insists that I change medications that have been working for me for many months because she 'doesn't agree' yet she's a counselor, not a doctor. She has a very closed minded view of the world even though she is bilingual. She insists that other countries besides America are super dangerous (anyone who has gone anywhere knows otherwise). This should be 0 stars.. but i need at least 1 to post. Please save yourself the trouble of dealing with this office. They have no idea how to handle insurance account information. They sent a bill to my insurance even though I provided an authorization number within the hour of her front desk receptionist letting me know she didnt have one. Amparo Pitas response was "WELL MISTAKES HAPPEN, THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT". She got flustered about the situation and then told me what do you want? You want your money? I'll g... read more
I have suffered from depression since 2015. This woman has been an angel in my life. She has helped me cope with some of the most difficult situations in my life, has shown me how to deal w them emotionally and mentally. Her words of advice have shown me so much thru the years. I am so greatful to have met her and have her as my counselor. Everyone's experience and thoughts may not be the same, but this is truly mine.
If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. The receptionist scheduled me for a 3:30, I take time off of work to get there, just to be told the appointment was at 3 but I can pay the full amount for a 15 minute session so we can "get started." I told her the problem and she said mistake happen and wasn't willing to do anything to solve it. No thank you. Dodged a bullet walking out.
