Anon review for Amp Shop

I have a Fender Super Amp that was squealing, so I let the Amp Shop have a crack at it. When I got the amp back, it worked better, but it still produced a lot of unwanted tones and feedback (the kind of sounds that no one likes). I could understand if I was told that the amp is unfixable or if that he/they could not fix it, but it was given back to me as if it had been fixed. The fixxer either didn't care it had not been fixed, or the fixxer never tested the amp after working on it. So, I don't care to return. I also brought a Line 6 amp in once, but I was met close to the door and told "We can't get the schematic for those." It was almost as if he was trying to prevent that Line 6 amp from polluting his shop. I don't know if he's competent, but the customer service experience is well off the mark.

I'm a repeat customer also. John has insulted my gear and talked down to me, but has always managed to fix the problem. The last time I went he charged me almost a hundred bucks and did NOTHING except store my amp for a month. I took the amp to another shop where the tech found a bad cap, weak tubes, and some faulty wiring (by the amp shop) and charged me less than he did AND I had my amp back in three days. My gear has never sounded so good! Amp Shop again? No Effing Way.
