I came from out of town to look at a bus and called AMP ahead of time to arrange for a mechanic to come with me before I bought it. When I got to Statesville the next day, Mr. Jerry Ward, the head senior mechanic, came with me to see the bus. He checked it over very thoroughly and I learned a lot from him. Mr. Ward examined the engine, transmission, tires, brakes, and crawled around underneath. He also went for a test drive with me at the wheel. We talked quite a bit and he gave me honest answers.
