They chipped my tooth
Such a shame that the docs are great and all the rest of the company including billing and management is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. I had emergency reconstruction surgery in January, got hit with thousands of dollars in bills, every other company was very understanding when I made partial payments except amoskeag, THEY SENT ME TO COLLECTIONS AFTER I PAID AT LEAST HALF 🤦♀️. I called to try and figure it out i got attitude and "there's nothing we can do maybe pay your bills on time" DISGRACEFUL PRACTICE
It’s unfortunate that our healthcare system has gotten so bad that the people who are handling the billing and the accounting could care less about your circumstance and whether something was done correct or not. They should be ashamed of themselves and the way they speak to their customers they allow no opportunity to get any type of reference number on a call so they are not even putting themselves in a position To hold themselves accountable for poor service.
Anesthesiologist at light house surgical suite opted to cancel my surgery the day prior to the scheduled date. I was never notified by the facility until I called. My surgeon had reached out (and questioned why anesthesia Dr did not call me direct) and was going to try to get the surgery done, but to no avail. I was never formally informed until I called myself at 4:30p the day before surgery. Our daughter had a surgical procedure and medically, this company was good. The issue is with their billing. My wife attempted to pay the bill in full by credit card and was told they recently switched systems and would not accept credit card payments. So, we mailed them a check paying the amount in full. The check was cashed and has cleared. We are now receiving harassing letters from a collections agency asking us to pay the invoice, even though we paid it (on time) several months ago. Avoid at all costs.
