Amor has consistently bad service. We’ve had experiences where they take 20 minutes to come take our order, they’re slow to refill water, they’re just not that friendly. What really got me to write this review was that tonight I made a 4:30 reservation. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. When we told them we didn’t want dinner they asked us to leave after an hour by letting us know we only had ten more minutes. We had not been here in awhile and were so happy to be back in the neighborhood to stop in. Sadly we were so disappointed! My favorite Jardin salad with skirt steak was inedible. Never in my life spit food into a napkin until tonight. Chicken enchiladas my husband had were covered in so much cheese and just seemed off. We were surprised to see there was a charge now to even get chips and salsa. Bummed.

This place is super cute! We didn’t have food, only drinks and their cocktails were delicious. Unfortunately though, my husband got topo-chico which is listed under their cervezas, and even thought it says BOTTLED beer $6, under this is listed as topo-chico and they charge $10/can. We wish we would have known because we would have paid more for another delicious cocktail. Poor menus on their part

We live in the neighborhood and were so happy that a Mexican restaurant opened in our area. We have tried it for dine in and takeout. Food just has no flavor. We just got guacamole to go, and the quac was not the bright green color you would expect, and it was tasteless. How can you mess up quac. We ended up throwing it away. Have never thrown out quacamole before. Such a disappointment. Amor y Tequilla - please do better!
