Felt like eating at home. Portions were generous & plenty affordable for quality food they provide. Definitely stop here for a South Indian style food

I couldn’t believe they had a combo with idly dosa vada and pongal all together for 5$ the food was extremely good, it reminded me of my home. The egg biryani and veg dinner were also too good. The staff was very friendly and calm. I plan on going there for my dinner and lunch for the next 3 days of my trip to nyc. We just need to wait for couple of minutes since it was only two people working there, but the service was really good. I didn’t have to ask anything twice, everything was on the table.

I have been ordering from Amma’s Kitchen regularly for the past 9 months and always loved the food. When Chef Veera was there, the food had a very authentic, native, home-style taste. I understand the chef changed around two months ago, and since then I have noticed a big difference in the taste and quality. I placed a few orders recently, but unfortunately I didn’t enjoy the food like before. I really miss the old taste and quality and hope you can bring it back. Sharing this as genuine feedback from a regular customer.
