I received multiple text messages from this company stating that "a loan was requested in my name" and that they need help with the "application process". I tried calling the company and they hung up on me multiple times when I inquired about the loan. Eventually someone stated on the phone that the company sends out fake messages to alert customers because they get a better response by scaring people into thinking they have a loan, than if they state that a customer is pre-approved. Paid $5500 through third party with Amity one and they did nothing for me. I want my money back. In fact they cost me $2000 additional penalties from IRS waiting for them to do something. There should be negative stars to check on here!
I had an excellent experience with Amity One Taxes. From the start I was a bit apprehensive but Brett put me at ease right away. He was professional, responsive, and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Thanks to his expertise, 99% of my taxes owed were eliminated —something I did not expect. I’m incredibly impressed with the level of service and support I received. Highly recommend their services to anyone needing tax help!

If I could give no stars I would have chosen that! This company took my money, over $5500, last fall (2024) and promised to help me resolve an old tax debt I have been trying to resolve with the IRS since 2019. They did absolutely NOTHING over the past 8 months except ask for more money, ignore my calls and emails, and lead me to believe they were working my my case!
