I have found my family of choice at CTR. The internal emotional and spiritual work and processing never stops even after you move into a different phase of the program, that's the beauty of a Therapeutic Community. I recommend CTR to those still struggling with addiction and other traumas they carry. The healing process is real.
I spent over a year at CTR and would strongly recommend this program to anyone who is struggling with addiction. It was especially effective for me because it was not 12-step based, like the treatment centers I had gone through before. They offer a deeper solution of therapy and understanding of what makes us use and why, rather than the surface "just go to AA and you'll be fine."
