I had a follow up visit today for a miscarriage. I waited in the room for 30 minuets for Huiwen Liu, MD. When the MA realized I hadn’t been seen she informed Dr. Liu who then proceeded to come to the waiting room to tell me by ultrasound looked ok and ask if I had anymore bleeding….while other patients were in the waiting room. I fully expected compassionate care and a thorough follow up, I had questions and concerns I was hoping could be addressed. I recently delivered my baby girl at Saint Alexius Hoffman States with Dr Papa Delacruz and had a wonderful experience. Dr Papa Delacruz and the entire team were caring, attentive, and reassuring throughout my delivery and postpartum care. They explained everything clearly, made me feel safe, and truly supported me as a new mom. Also, I had a great experience in my entire pregnancy with Dr Anita Iyer, Dr Cecilia Chui and Dr Huiwen Liu. If I could give zero stars, I would. This practice is extremely poorly run. Nearly every interaction I’ve had, whether with the front desk, medical assistants, or nursing staff, has been unprofessional & frustrating. I was repeatedly given conflicting information, & when I pushed back by referencing what another staff member had told me, I was treated as if I were lying & met with defensiveness & rudeness.
