Over twenty years ago, at UPMC in Pittsburgh, Dr. Kassam removed a large Chondroblastoma from my right temporal region. I was given less than a 5% chance of surviving the surgery, and if so I would most likely be bedridden and blind in my right eye. But because of his exceptional skill, I did survive, and I am neither bedridden nor blind in that eye. Dr. Kassam, I don’t know if you remember me, my first name is Amy. I want to thank you for saving my life, and the exceptional quality of such.

I wish that there are more physicians like Dr Kassam! He is a genuine gem. Dr Kassam performed the microvascular decompression surgery on my husband for his hemifacial spasm. The illness took over our lives for twenty years and it was a very difficult journey for my husband. A year ago, we had the surgery by another surgeon with devastating result. Dr . Kasam saved my Mother’s life when she fell and had a brain bleed . He performed surgery and she recovered with no ramifications . Great team !
