We had the manacotti for lunch and it was absolutely wonderful. The bread is awesome too
cute and tasty little italian spot in suffolk. pizza was delicious and the service was amazing ! definitely will be back !🙂
Food is very good and service is very good, but could be five star rating if they up their game just a little bit. For example, the bench seats have no cushions whatsoever and the backs were designed to have cushions so there is a hard bar that digs into your shoulder blades if you lean back. Very uncomfortable for a guest. How much could it cost to get a few cushions?? Also, along the lines of constructive criticism the flatware used in this restaurant is atrocious. Food was great but the service experience was subpar. Asked for a menu prior to sitting down and was given the Express Lunch Menu and the Regular Menu. Only to find out after we were seated that they only do subs on the weekends for the express lunch. Waitress had an attitude and was extremely quiet. I had to ask her to repeat herself numerous times. Food was good. Wish I could have gotten pasta. But the pizza was good. Wish they had fountain drinks instead of solely bottles.
Food and service was super as always. I was disappointed that their veal dish had been dropped from the menu. Our visit was on a Saturday night after the dinner rush. We were returning home from an anniversary party in Wake Forest NC so it was easy to reroute to downtown Suffolk on the way home to Norfolk. If you like carrot cake you must try Amici’s. It is very yummy and one slice is enough for 3.
