Fabulous taste The variety of dishes is amazing at Amici Ristorante.Interiors are fabulous and Food was awesome, I really liked the place .But it's always crowded because everyone wants to eat here! Service is good too..!!
World Class Service & Taste Without a doubt my mother's favorite restaurant. She ate here at least once a week for the past 40+ years. When she died last August the entire family went there after the services. The staff at Amici's treated us like royalty. My mother was one of their favorite customers. I left with 3 loaves of handmade bread to bring back to Texas with me.
it sucks Too expensive for such low quality food. 13 dollars for one chicken breast of Market Day quality. I had better spaghetti sauce on beef-a-roni as a child than what this place serves. It used to be good. The owners ought to be ashamed of themselves by trying to pass this off as good italian that close to the City of Chicago.
Our Favorite Italian Restaurant The atmosphere is quite nice. Summertime I would recommend the outdoor patio and in the winter cozy up in the bar area in a booth. Everything I've gotten there is perfect. The best calamari I've ever had you can totally tell it's homemade and not frozen. The bread is perfect (piping hot, crunchy on outside and soft on the inside), mama's lasagna delicious, and we drive out there from the city because my girlfriend is in love with the crab ravioli. Quality Italian Food This is a good Italian restaurant with a lot of character. There is an outdoor patio that you can dine at in warm months that has a look and feel like you are in old world Italy. The servers are very attentive and the food is authentic. It's a very attractive (but rather small) dining area. Of course I recommend the pasta. Their red sauce is amazing. The place also has a romantic atmosphere with a fireplace and dim lighting. A tad on the pricey side however.
Excellent Italian Dining This restaurant is another family favorite. The entire atmosphere of the place is very nice and very condusive to conversation and family dining. This is not the kind of place that is so loud you can't hear or so dark you can't see who you're talking to. As a family we have been going to this restaurant for years. You'll love it here This place has loads of charm and character and I loved the food. I went here during the Holidays with a large group of people. We all tried something different and we all walked away fatter and happier! The eggplant parm, lasagna, soups, salads, you name it, it was good. And the server was attentive and pleasant. We will definitely be going back.
