Let me start by saying if I could give 10 stars, I would. I have had 2 experiences with Amica Riverside. The first was after my mom suffered 3 strokes within 6 months. Miraculously, she is still quite independent, but requires some care. At the time Peggy at Amica set up a trail stay for her to see if she would like it. The experience was great getting the information and the tour, but my mom decided she wasn't ready for retirement living and moved closer to me. Amica is a beautiful facility. The staff are amazing - so pleasant and accommodating. Activities galore with many choices for everyone. The care is exceptional and the residents so welcoming. There are many retirement homes around but I can understand why this is a number one choice.
