This place is a joke. They added me to an insurance policy that i have 0 relation to the account holder and i don’t even live at the residence. They refuse to remove me off the policy and are charging the owner $470 a month. Do NOT use this insurance company, they’re scam artists. I called to be removed and the woman hung up on me. this is actually fraud.
My daughter leased a new car 9 months ago and sold her old one at the same time. Amica was notified at the time of leasing and selling. BUT Amica kept charging her for 2 cars! She called 3 times and "chatted" for over 1 and a half hours another time asking for a refund for the 9 months of double insurance. The refund she got was for $22 a month! Worst place to call I called for a quote was ignored when asked a question, and was treated differently when asked for translator, I speak fluently in English but a friend needed Spanish translation, Valerie was good and a good translator, but the other Karen, I mean girl sounded like she didn’t want to even be there, I believe Customer service will take you really far, and treating people the same as everyone else earns you much respect, it was 2 policy’s one for me one for her and I had insurance to put it thru but because... read more
all insurance companies are a scam but this company is exceptionally sucky
Had been with Amica for 30 years. Called to talk to them about my rates being extremely high. They told me there was nothing they could do. Had to change just to afford car insurance. When we cancelled they told us that because we didn’t finish out the 6 months we would not receive our dividend check. Would have cost more than the check is worth.
