Agent was friendly & honest.
I was an Amica customer for almost 20 years before my first claim - roof due to hail damage. They were difficult to work with during the claim and also made the payment process very difficult due to requiring that the mortgage company be involved. Disappointing
I called Amica for a H.O. quote a while ago and there rates were soo extremely higher than their competitor's. I don't know how they maintain customers, not to mention their poor ratings from current customer's who are completely dissatisfied with their customer service! My policies are about to renew and I was about to call Amica for Auto & H.O. bundle quotes but after reading some of these reviews, I Dare Not patronize a company that doesn't treat their paying customers with dignity & respect.
Amica has been an absolute nightmare to work with. My brand new car was hit by someone insured by Amica. From the beginning, communication was terrible and I had to constantly reach out and follow up just to get the runaround about getting my car looked at. Meanwhile, my 2 month old car was at risk of being ruined permanently from rainwater leaking through the damaged part of the bumper/trunk.
