Dr. Acharya has been my OBGYN for over 15 years. She has seen me for multiple exams and pregnancies. I would say without an ounce of doubt that she is by far the best doctor that I visit regularly. She always listens to my concerns and I trust her advice and expertise immensely. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring doctor.
I was nervous when my prior ob/gyn retired and was referred to Dr. Acharya. I was very pleased with her, her bedside manner and she made me very comfortable. I would highly recommend her.
Dr. Acharya is very thorough and also explains any all procedures that she performs on you. After any type of testing/procedures she promptly notifies and explains the results, as well as patiently answering all questions.
Dr. Acharya was very kind and reassuring during my testing, diagnosis and minor surgical procedure. She promptly kept me informed of all test results. I felt comfortable asking any and all questions. I also felt that everyone at Generations cared about me and my concerns.
Dr. Acharya is an incredibly rude and arrogant person. At 18 I had an adverse reaction to the birth control she had pushed me to start despite not being sexually active, and had chronic pain for MONTHS even after stopping the pill. When I came to her for help I was laughed at, labeled as “anxious and dramatic”, and even scolded for stopping the pill which had caused my problems in the first place.
