Dr. Acharya is an incredibly rude and arrogant person. At 18 I had an adverse reaction to the birth control she had pushed me to start despite not being sexually active, and had chronic pain for MONTHS even after stopping the pill. When I came to her for help I was laughed at, labeled as “anxious and dramatic”, and even scolded for stopping the pill which had caused my problems in the first place. Dr. Acharya was my first obgyn at the age of 18, and pretty much traumatized me about obgyns for a while after. She was dismissive, uncaring, and flat out rude to me as a young woman with questions about her body. I had to learn that it WAS okay to ask questions after I left her almost as quickly as I started. Fun fact, I had an insurance issue that required the agent to reach out to her directly, and I warned her of Dr. Acharya’s rudeness. I ll never visit again.... I advise that visit somewhere else
Dr Acharya is knowledgeable, patient, and efficient. She makes my visits comfortable, and genuinely cares. Best GYN so far in my life, thank you!
