I an 65 years old, have lived in many places, have had many fine dental providers. Amherst Dental Group is my all time favorite.
The cleaning visit I had with Joanne Cleary was one of the best I've had. She explained what she was doing, assured me that my teeth and gums looked fine, and also explained why food collects around certain teeth, which no other hygienist has done and was very sweet, but professional. I asked her if I could request her for my hygienist and am now signed up with her for my January visit.
I am very impressed with Dr. Weldon and all staff that I've met so far at Amherst Dental. They are very pleasant, polite, and professional. I am confident that I will receive the best in dental care.
This is an incredibly well-run dental practice with outstanding service at all levels, from the front desk through to the check out. Joanne is a fantastic dental hygienist -- thorough, with great attention to detail, and excellent skills. Dr. B is both very nice and very talented. He is excellent in all respects, follows up promptly, and is extremely well informed. The practice keeps great records and the staff actually consults them, so they always know what's going on. Amherst Dental has the most professional staff in the 5-College area. Receiving appointment reminders is always appreciated w/ our busy schedules; and they always accommodate our busy schedules. When showing up to our appointments on time, we've never waited more than 5 minutes to be served. Their warm welcome, state-of-the-art equipment and thorough dental/oral examinations are what keeps us going back.

I know that good patent care is not an accident. Those places that do it well, do so because they work at it. I was quite pleased at the level of responsiveness and attentiveness I saw from all staff at Amherst Dental. While I have been a patient for several decades, I found the level of patient care has increased since my last visit four years ago.
All staff were pleasant and friendly, from the person at check-in, to the assistant, the dentist, and the check-out process. Procedure went well, and I was told to call if for any reason at all I had an issue.
As in the past, the entire dental office staff -- receptionists, hygienist and my primary dentist, Fred Perry -- were remarkably friendly, very attentive (great listeners!), and knowledgeable. A FIRST RATE TEAM
