This guy is weird. He thinks tape measures vary by a sixteenth not realizing that that the end hook slides to accommodate for inside or outside measurements. Then when I tried to explain that to him, he told me to go somewhere else. DO NOT USE THIS STORE under any circumstances. The owner is rude and unappreciative of those who would give him business.

Great Service, Quality Work Used Amherst Glass many times over the years, they can come to your home or place of business and the work has always been done well and in a timely fashion.
I used Amherst Glass to replace at least 100 panes of glass over the years in my unusual condo unit in Ice Pond Woods, and without exception found them to be excellent to work with. Once I found excess glue on some glass panes and they promptly return to fix the problem.
The first time Amherst glass came here to replace the glass they/the owner brought the wrong size glass.. it was off by 4 inches. he returned a few days later..this time he left glue all over the glass and didn't even look at the weather strip which had serveral broken screws. Now there is a bad draft. I contacted him.. Instead of offering to come fix the problem, he got defensive and rude. I do not recommend ANYONE do business with them..and if you do...you should watch him very carefully...

friendly service Amherst Glass will fix all your glass needs such as windows. This modest building is staffed with friendly people who will give you great ideas. The pricing is high but you will get quality work. They also carry an assortment of windows as well as a few doors. The friendly service is worth the few extra dollars.
