does not take Anthem Blue Cross insurance leaving customers on the hook for bills much larger then insurance co-pays. Athem is the largest insurer in MA. Unacceptable that they do note take it especially considering you don't have a choice when an ambulance is called. By not having a contract with Anthem they are still able to bill collect from them but they set the rates much higher then insurance pays and bill the customer for the rest.
