I have been a client of Juan’s for over a year and try to visit once a month if possible. I look forward to his warm reception and private massage room with uninterrupted spiritual or classical (or anything of my choice) background music during the massage. The room is always the temperature of my choice—warm. His massage oils/creams are hot (feeling wonderful) and his massage technique is deliberate and highly intuitive. I am giving Juan a rating because I wanted to inform others that he only accepts clients who have both COVID vaccines AND the booster. I did not know this since he originally accepted my appointment but he called 25 minutes before the appointment to cancel because I have not had the booster. He seems very nice and I admire his principles, but it was not very professional. Unlike the most recent reviewer, I would give Juan the HIGHEST review for his diligence for accepting only “boostered” individuals coming into his private home in an intimate one-on-one setting. This speaks volumes for his concern of his and his other clients’ protection. (I have been to a few therapists over the years but none has been as caring, intuitive, professional, and conscientious as Juan.)
