Really lovely hospital. The first time I had ever visited and a lovely volunteer had clearly noticed I was looking a bit lost and they kindly took me all the way to the section of the hospital I needed to be - so helpful! The podiatry section I visited was such a calm, clean and bright environment and the staff member who seen me was also wonderful. A really brilliant hospital.

Before even getting into the hospital you are forced to download a third party patking app (I also had to help an elderly person who was panicking as they struggled with using a smartphone)... What about people without smartphones?! Payment has to be made on arrival, how do you know how long you will be in an overrun hospital? So you face a fine if you don't pay for long enough. I have been trying to contact the podiatry dept at Amersham for a few weeks.. there is never any answer and you get cut off! I've tried other ways of contacting them and even phoned stoke mandeville a few times getting different nos and today I have tried another 5 nos. Inc the original no that just rings and rings and get cut off as usual.. may I SCREAM!
